Why parents should volunteer to help kindergarten teachers in the classroom

Kindergarten is the foundation that sets the stage for children to excel in school with an eagerness that promotes their willingness to learn and their desire to grow their young minds. Lacking skills necessary to succeed (once promoted from kindergarten) in first grade can gravely impact a child’s ability to keep up with his or her peers, cause children to feel incapable of learning, as well as unnecessarily delay their passing on to second grade and beyond.
